On May 16th, the Institute for Carbon Neutrality of Tsinghua University(ICON, Tsinghua) and the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy of Tsinghua University jointly organized a lecture, inviting Philip Earis, editor-in-chief of Joule, Zhang Shanshan, scientific editor of One Earth, and Yang Nan, scientific editor of Chem Catalysis, to introduce relevant CELL PRESS journals, and exchanged views with experts and scholars in the fields of energy and climate. Dozens of teachers and students from Tsinghua University, Peking University and other universities attended the lecture.

Philip Earis, Zhang Shanshan and Yang Nan respectively introduced the positioning, research focus, future development direction, application of artificial intelligence in editing work, publication process and submission suggestions, etc. of the relevant journal, and shared the energy, the latest research results in the fields of environment, and had an interactive Q&A session with the teachers and students present.

Subsequently, Philip Earis, Zhang Shanshan, and Yang Nan held an exchange and discussion session with representatives of researchers in the fields of energy and climate.
