Loan is ExxonMobil corporation’s Climate Policy Manager with over 30 years’ experience in industry, policy and technology. In her current role, she advocates for sound policy to promote emission reductions in the hard-to-decarbonize sector while continuing to provide for the growing demand for energy. More supportive policy, market mechanisms, and technology advancements are needed to deploy at scale (CCS, H₂ and biofuels) and this is the focus of Loan’s work. Loan holds an MS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University.
