From November 20 to 21, the Tsinghua University-UNSW Collaborative Research Project Symposium was held at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia. Jiang Peixue, Vice Chair of the Tsinghua University Council; Bronwyn Fox AO, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UNSW; Lisa Zamberlan, Pro Vice-Chancellor of UNSW; and Dane McCamey, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of UNSW, attended the event.

During the two-day event, research teams from nine collaborative projects between the two universities presented their project updates. Participants also visited UNSW's Solar Research Laboratory, Urban Analytics Lab, and Translational Health Centre for tours and exchanges.
Jiang Peixue congratulated the achievements made in the various collaborative research projects and commended the deep friendship established between the two universities over many years. He also affirmed the accomplishments in areas such as cultural exchange, academic collaboration, and talent cultivation, expressing anticipation for even more fruitful outcomes in future cooperation between the two sides.
More than 40 faculty members and students from Tsinghua University's School of Architecture, School of Aerospace Engineering, Department of Electronic Engineering, Department of Electrical Engineering, Department of Chemical Engineering, and School of Clinical Medicine, along with counterparts from collaborating UNSW faculties, participated in the event.
During this visit, Peixue Jiang's delegation also traveled to the University of Wollongong in Australia, where they jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Carbon Neutrality and Energy System Transformation (CNEST) Multilateral Collaboration Program with Chancellor G.Q. Max Lu AO. The delegation also visited the Bandung Institute of Technology in Indonesia, holding discussions with Vice Rector Lavi Rizki Zuhal and faculty representatives from relevant fields to explore in-depth cooperation across multiple disciplines between the two institutions.

Jiang Peixue's delegation also paid a visit to the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney, exchanging views with Lin Xiaoqing, Education Consul, on issues related to China-Australia educational and cultural exchanges.
Personnel from the Institute for Carbon Neutrality, the Office of Scientific Research and Development, and other relevant units participated in the related activities.
