In this upcoming talk, the IEA will present its flagship annual report on the renewable energy sector. The report brings together the agency’s latest forecasts and analysis, drawing on recent policy and market developments, and sets out both key challenges and the opportunities facing the sector today. This year’s edition looks ahead to 2030, outlining expected deployment of renewable technologies across electricity, transport, and heat. It also reviews important trends that are reshaping the sector, from policy changes to manufacturing dynamics and the financial health of different parts of the industry.

4. 报告人简介

Heymi Bahar

Heymi Bahar works at the International Energy Agency’s (IEA) Renewable Energy Division as the senior analyst and lead author of Renewables Report, the IEA’s main market analysis and forecast on renewable energy. Before IEA, Heymi worked as a trade policy analyst at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) where he analysed domestic inventive measures for renewable energy sources with possible trade implications. He also worked on cross-border trade in electricity and the development of renewables-based electric power. Heymi graduated from Sabanci University and holds a Master degree on Energy, Resources and Environment from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University.
